Central Pointe Christian Academy in Orlando, Florida was founded by Yanira Parés and Nelson Perdomo in 2013, nowdays they manage 4 campuses in Orlando: Kissimmee campus, High School campus, Poinciana campus, and Learning Center campus. In 2018 they opened a campus in Honduras using the homeschooling system of Abeka which has a high growth power and positioning.
The academy not only educates from kindergarden to highschool, but also trains and equips students for an effective life with the foundation of biblical truth and teaches through the extension of the love of Christ through relationships.
We believe that with education, poverty can be overcome and with a foundation of faith, a family's life can be strengthened. That’s how CPCA Missionary campus came up, offering a free education with the Abeka Homeschool Curriculum for children who live in this rural community with low resources, opening not only a virtual campus but also a face-to-face campus located in Jerusalen Celestial church in Lepaterique, in the mountains of Honduras, Central America.
Lepaterique is located in the mountains of Francisco Morazan, Honduras. A place where the population is over 22,306 people and almost 63% of them have a basic level of education (ending the sixth grade) and the rest not even finishing the first grade. In 2018, Honduras was ranking the 95th place of illiteracy in the world, that changed drastically when COVID-19 came forcing the children and teenagers to leave their schools, and because of their lack of electricity and technology in the majority of the houses, education became even more difficult to apply in the rural zones.
Your contribution will enable us to support our employees and continue operations. We are very grateful for your generosity.
